Recensione:
Quest'ultimo libro è forse il più dinamico degli altri due precedenti forse perchè in questo molti avvenimenti sottintesi ora sono finalmente svelati ed i segreti che i ragazzi, soprattutto Ray, verranno alla luce.. Capiremo molte delle sue paure e timori e delle dinamiche familiari della nostra adorata principessa viziata.

Marlo grazie all'aiuto dei suoi amici riuscirà a maturare e a canalizzare il suo sentimento verso il suo raggio di sole (Ray of light). Dimostrando a se stesso soprattutto, ma anche alla sua adorata, di essere il suo per sempre.

"I will be your last Ray,your only,your forever,and I will wait that long if I have to. We have time,so be my friend today, so you can be my forever tomorrow"

"Sarò il tuo ultimo amore Ray, il tuo per sempre e aspettero' tutto il tempo che occorrà. Abbiamo tempo quindi sii mia amica ora così potrai essere il mio per sempre domani"

Non c'è mai stato un dubbio da parte del lettore sui sentimenti dei ragazzi. Perché sotto la cortina di fumo delle litigate e della tensione sessuale, si capisce dalle prime frasi del primo libro che loro due si sono trovati quando avevano sei anni. Nel cortile di casa di lei, ma poi la vita e le scelte, i segreti li hanno allontanati. Bisogna solo avere fortuna nel ritrovarsi o forse il destino aiuta coloro che sono anime gemelle.

Review: 
This last episode of Marlo and Ray's story we got all the secrets revealed and finally we can understand why our "SP" is focused in the past and what happened in her family.
They both are more self consciuos of their love of each other and their desire to keep all the menaces out of their life so they can get their happy ending.
We can perfectly see why she fell in love with him at six and how he loved her back all this time. This a story of strenght and love above all. We all need a knight in the shining armon but it doesn't mean that you can be both at the same time.

Buongiorno ragazze oggi parliamo del secondo capitolo della serie Cruel Summer di Rachel Van Dyken Cruel Seduction uscito ieri in America. Ricordo che si tratta sempre di una trilogia che è stata pubblicata esclusivamente per Ibooks. Andiamo a scoprire cosa succederà in un questo corso estivo tra la principessa viziata Ray e il direttore Marlo.

E l'ho ottenuto nel migliore modo possibile.

All'improvviso tutto cambia pero' ed io capisco che voglio solo lei, la situazione non è facile per niente dato che sono il direttore del campus, il suo capo.
Noi ci amiamo e odiamo in egual misura e la tensione tra di noi non accenna a dimunire se mmai si fa sempre più forte.
Io la sfido e lei sfida me.
La nostra passione che venga dall'odio o dall'amore e una bestia potente che mi rifiuto di domare.

Recensione:
Il primo capitolo di questo libro ci ha lasciato con un finale sospeso che devo dire mi ha fatto fremare il cuore, si perchè questi due ragazzi hanno diversi strati di sentimenti e di vita vissuta e il loro sfidarsi/affrontarsi ti fa tifare per l'uno e l'altro di continuo. Mi spiego meglio quando Marlo racconta un po' di sè cosa che fortunatamente ci permette di capire questo personaggio un po' di più tu come lettrice/lettore sei completamente d'accordo con il suo modo di agire ma poi quando Ray ti descrive la sua vita tu sei dalla sua parte.
La cosa più saggia sarebbe quindi di prendere i due personaggi per le orecchie e dirgli: Vi rendete conto che vi rincorrete da una vita ed è il caso che vi fermiate ed apprezziate l'altro? Bene, ora che mi sono sfogata posso spiegarmi meglio.
Il nostro bel direttore/ex ragazzo del prato/ ex sfigato ha deciso che vuole prendersi una rivincita con la principessa viziata ma come diceva una famosa pubblicità non tutte le ciambelle riescono con il buco e si ritrova a fare una rincorsa contro il tempo per cercare di fare capire a Ray che nonstante le sue azioni lui non può fare a meno di lei.

Per quento voglia essere quel genere di ragazzo io non riuscivo ad esserlo. Non con lei... Lei era... Lei è stata... Sarà sempre... Tutto per me...

Ray riuscirà a dare una seconda possibilità a Marlo? Questa ragazza ha dei grossi problemi di fiducia e il suo vissuto familiare non ha certo aiutato. Due genitori distanti, più preoccupati della loro vita e della loro coppia. Abbassare le difese e permettere a un sentimento nuovo e puro di entrare nella sua vita sarà la sfida che dovranno sostenere questi ragazzi perché il problema a volte non è amare ma permettersi di essere amati.

Review:
Revenge is a dish best served cold they said.. How does it taste? Marlo hates it. He got it but as soon as he can feel it it's stuck on his tongue.. Now he has to do everything in his power to prove her that it was a tremendous mistake.
Can he succeed?
Can Ray let Marlo get closer again? Can she forgive him or herself?
Let's see if they can find together the strenght to overcame the past and make a better future for our beloved characters.

Recensione:
Inizio subito con il dire che sto pensando seriamente di aprire un'agenzia di investigazione privata per umiliare tutte "le dolci metà" infedeli. Non trovate che sia un'idea geniale? Lavorare sotto copertura, avvicinare l'obbiettivo e poi zac! fare una bella diretta su FB per umiliarlo pubblicamente? Beh purtroppo non possiamo rivenderci l'dea perché l'autrice lo ha appena descritto in un libro e tra poco miliardi di persone potranno farlo... Però posso dirvi che l'idea di Blaire e della sua socia Isla ha avuto molto successo e la loro agenzia ha moltissimi clienti che reclamano i loro servizi.
La vita di Blaire procedeva più o meno tranquilla fino a quando non rincontra dopo moltissimo tempo il suo ex Jessie Beckett.  Ex quaterback della Nfl bello come un dio greco che le fa tornare le cosiddette farfalle nello stomaco ma anche il motivo per cui lei ha fatto l'errore più grande della sua vita... sposare Jason, il suo ex marito che l'ha tradita con la sua ex migliore amica.
Il suo prossimo caso si rivela proprio quello di cogliere in fallo Jessie e mentre cerca di beccarlo con "le mani nella marmellata" si ritrova a flirtare con il barista tatuato e super sexy  per scoprire poi che si tratta di Colin (migliore amico di quest'ultimo) e proprietario di vari locali e hotel in città.
Tra Blaire e Colin si instaura una bella alchimia e si percepisce sin da subito il tormento di Colin nel voler aiutare l'amico e nel desiderio di avere Blaire tutta per sé.

Ma soprattutto ero infastidito che in tutto cio' lei lo guardava con la stessa disperazione con cui io guardavo lei

Si ritrovano in situazioni all'ordine dell'assurdo per portare a termine l'incarico di Blaire tra cui cena di gala, viaggio in Africa etc. In tutto questo trambusto il cuore di Blaire riuscirà a fare pace con il suo cervello? Riuscirà a non deludere la sua socia Isla? Jessie è veramente il suo ragazzo dei sogni? O forse a volte l'amore lo troviamo anche nelle situazioni più sbagliate?
Nota bene: Blaire è la sorella di Ian Hunter (The matchmaker playbook) e anche il motivo della nascita della Wingmen Inc.

First let’s say that I didn’t know that a cheerleader can be size 14 and now I’m glad of it.
The story is about two high school best friends turning into lovers separated soon after by distance and misunderstandings.They met again after few years because they will work for the same football team one as cheerleader and one as tight end. We will face the consequences of this situation when Emerson will meet Grant Sanchez a sexy as hell wide receiver who claims her as his.Emerson is torn by the old and maybe new love and all the rules in the cheerleader manual: one above all do not fratenzise with players.
Let’s find out if she is a rule breaker!

 Buongiorno ragazze! Oggi vi parlerò dell'ultimo libro di Rachel Van Dyken "Fraternize" Che è il primo capitolo di una nuova divertente serie. Teniamo le dita incrociate perché sappiamo quanto la Sig.ra Van Dyken sia fantastica nelle commedie rosa.

Sinossi: 
Emerson ha appena realizzato il suo sogno di diventare una cheerleader professionista per la sua squadra di football preferita. Come atleta taglie + ha già cambiato qualche restrizione ora deve però fare i conti con il libro delle regole. Carboidrati? No Cioccolato? Decisamente no. Emerson ama le sue curve e farà di tutto per eccellere in questo lavoro. L' unica regola che è più facile a dirsi che a farsi è...
Non fraternizzare con i giocatori.
Primo problema è Miller Quinton: il primo amore di Emerson, la sua prima volta e l'uomo dei suoi sogni a luci rosse. Costretti a stare insieme, Emerson e Miller sentiranno ancora quella passione che li legava anche se il motivo per cui sono stati separati è insormontabile.
Poi c'è il fin troppo affascinante Grant Sanchez, lui ha una certa reputazione con le signore ma quando si tratta di vincere qualcosa che vuole non lascia scampo a nessuno.
Ora Emerson sta violando tutte le regole del manuale ma quello che non sa è che lei fa parte di un gioco malsano; una partita in cui lei potrebbe perdere sia il suo sogno che il suo cuore.

Recensione: 
Quando mi è stata data l'opportunità di leggere un nuovo romanzo di questa autrice ho fatto i salti di gioia... Lei ha un modo di scrivere e di farci sorridere che è riservato a pochi infatti non delude mai e neanche questa volta...
La storia inizia con uno sguardo indietro alle superiori per farci capire come tutto è iniziato ossia con Emerson e Miller migliori amici già da quando avevano sette anni ed ora invece alle prese con i primi drammi adolescenziali e l'amore. La loro amicizia è molto esclusiva e nonostante lui sia un giocatore di football molto ricercato non ha occhi che per la sua migliore amica Em. Tutto precipita quando in seguito a un dramma Miller è costretto a trasferirsi e poche ora prima di andarsene diciamo che loro decidono di fare un passo in avanti nella loro relazione e vivere una storia a distanza.
Li ritroviamo poi anni dopo mentre lei ha avuto, dopo tanti sforzi, la bella notizia di essere entrata nella squadra delle cheerleader e lui appena acquistato come Te (tight end) della Bellevue Bucks. Ma prima che sì incontrino/scontrino di nuovo Emerson viene notata da Grant Sanchez: teaser Grant Sanchez non era solo uno dei migliori Wind receiver della lega, lui era il migliore Wide receiver della lega!!  L'uomo la vede piangere nel parcheggio dello stadio e si avvicina per abbordarla. Rimane scioccato che l'hanno scelta perché di solito vengono scelte stronzette con sorrisi e tette finte con un'ossessione per il sedano. 
Lei risponde che "il sedano sa di acqua e che non piace a nessuno". Ecco il momento in cui Sanchez ha una cotta per Emerson e d'ora in avanti la chiamerà Curve.
(Curves) Emerson vede in lui la possibilità di andare avanti da un passato che è rimasto in stand by da quando Miller l'ha abbandonata e vorrebbe buttarsi a capofitto ma sarà Miller capace di lasciarla andare senza combattere? Miller infatti è furioso con Emerson perché lei lo ha lasciato andare e nonostante i suoi successi sportivi non riesce ad andare avanti. 
Come potrà mai gestire la sua carriera professionale se il suo compagno è proprio Grant Sanchez? 
"Quindi come andrà a finire? Sarai il mio e il suo migliore amico? Sarai un buon compagno di squadra e ci aiuterai a vincere il campionato o sarà guerra?"
Bella domanda no? Vi consiglio di leggerlo perché oltre a farvi delle sane risate con l'umorismo di Sanchez ci saranno degli argomenti seri trattati e tanti ma tanti bei esemplari di atleti giusto per rifarsi gli occhi.
Io non vedo l'ora che esca il secondo!
